"My son had just transitioned into an
accelerated school, and needed to “catch up” in certain areas
including Spelling and Latin. I found your products recommended in a
thread on study aids parents can use to help their children. After
reviewing your website, I knew my son would like the approach since he likes
computer games so much. I found your products easy to use, and the
customizability is invaluable!! My son did not mind “studying”
for spelling with Spell Plus, and was much more willing to do daily
reviews. I found the same to be true with Fill-in Tests, which I used to
create reviews for him in Latin, Vocabulary, History and Science. We
started using your products shortly after the beginning of the school year, and
by the 2ndquarter, he was getting As and Bs consistently. He
ended his 4th grade year earning academic honors. We owe your
products a great debt for that accomplishment. You gave us a tool to help
him study that he enjoys using, and that we can make perfectly relevant to his
whole curriculum. Thanks a million for developing such a great
product! I’ve recommended your product to many parents at my son’s
school, and have no hesitancy in recommending them to any parent looking for
tools to help their children academically."

"WOW, I have just checked out the
Abilities Builder software. I know
our students will benefit greatly from this great program. I really
like the animation, and I know the students will too. My students with
disabilities will love these programs, and I expect to see their math
and language abilities to increase dramatically."

"Thank you for this wonderful
software. I downloaded it onto my home
computer so that I could check it out. The language arts program is
good but I especially like the math. This will be of great
use to
those students who need another approach."

Thanks again!

"The faculty and staff as well as
the students in Sunflower County would like to thank you for giving us
the opportunity to try the teacher interactive software. Our six grade
students here at Ruleville Middle School are so excited about the
program, not just the six graders but all grade levels. I myself got
excited when going through the steps with them. I see this software
helping a lot of our low proficiency students in a lot of ways.I even
see growth for other in using this software. Again thank you for giving
us the opportunity to try this software.

© programs
have met the legal compliance criteria of
the California Department of Education and have been approved by the
CLRN for use in California public schools. They have also
received top ratings in the software industry for safety, reliability
and content.
These programs use unique and effective methods to dramatically
improve basic
academic skills in reading,
spelling, writing, math,
and the retention
of subject materials. These programs are designed for everyone,
regardless of school age, grade, or ability level! You are the
"programer". You decide what subject materials you or your student is going to learn.
Using the Language Plus
program illustrated below, you can input your own spelling word lists,
facts, sentences, paragraphs and create tests for materials for school,
the workplace, or personal study projects. The program will then
prepare activities that are guaranteed to promote the retention of
these materials while dramatically improving spelling, reading and writing skills.
To illustrate how this is accomplished, a rather difficult word neurotransmitter
was used in this sample spelling word (Level
1) exercise. The entire word has appeared in the upper
text box for a interval of time determined by you. The word was vocalized by
Peedy or Microsoft Voice and then the vowels were
removed. The user is required to type in the entire word in
the lower text
box.
There are four more levels of difficulty in this exercise. In
Level 2,
the
word appears, is read to the student, and all consonants are
removed. In Level 3 all characters are removed
leaving an underscored space for each character. In Level 4 all
characters are removed and total visual recall is required. In
Level 5, the word is vocalized but does not appear. The student hears the word and must type it in
without any visual clues.

In this exercise, the definition of neurotransmitter is learned while
simultaneously learning to read and write entire sentences. Since you
program the words and sentences, the possibilities for learning are
unlimited!

In the following exercise, the retention of the definition of neurotransmitter is
further reinforced while learning to correctly punctuate
this sentence.
The
fully punctuated sentence appears for a time interval you preset and
disappears. The sentence then appears unpunctuated in the lower
text box where the student inserts the punctuation marks.

A similar exercise for capitalization is also included the Language Plus program.
In this matching test exercise, the student is required to match neurotransmitter
with
its definition. Peedy or the Microsoft Voice will read the definition
and word each time the Say Box and the Say Option
buttons are pressed.

Math
Abilities Builder math programs will take someone with absolutely no
math computation skills to a point where he is adding, subtracting,
multiplying and dividing whole numbers and fractions with speed and
accuracy.
All of the following exercises are included in the Whole Number Plus program.
We begin with whole number math facts.
In this
multiplication
exercise, the fact was read to the student and he has entered the correct answer and will receive positive
feedback.

The
student has entered an incorrect response. The
correct response appears below and read again to the student.
He is not
allowed to continue until he enters the correct response.

After math facts, the next step is to tackle simple to
complex whole number problems.
This 4-row addition
problem
is waiting for the number 8 and the 1 that
will follow.

The following 4-column
subtraction problem is waiting for the number 5.
All problems are
randomly generated with no repeats, so borrowing may or may not be
required.

This 3-digit multiplier (also
1 and 2-digit multiplier) problem is waiting for the 8 and
then the 1.
The addition phase will be similar to the format in used in addition
problems.

The following problem has almost been completed successfully.
It is waiting for the remainder 50.

The following exercises are included in the Fractions Plus program.
The
following reduce fractions problem of Level 2 difficulty (there
are 3 levels of
difficulty), is waiting for the 5. Notice
that the greatest common factor (GCF) 6
appears in the box above the equal sign. You have the option to
show or hide this box.

In the following
fraction to mixed number problem there was an incorrect response and the
correct answer
appears.

This mixed number
to fraction problem was done correctly. The optional positive feedback from Peedy will follow.

After reducing and simplifying fractions are mastered, proceed to fraction problems.
In this Level 3 (most challenging) unlike fractions subtraction problem all tries have been used up and the correct
answer is displayed.

Level 1 addition of unlike fraction.

There are 9 levels to choose from for multiplication and division.
Level 3 multiplication problem.

Level 6 multiplication problem.

Level 2 division problem

Level 5 division problem.

Everyone should
be able to measure accurately both in the English and metric systems. Abilities Builder Measure It helps you gain this skill quickly and easily.
Using the 16
divisions/inch scale (there are also 4, 8
and 32 division
scales), the 1 and the
13 have been entered correctly and Peedy is waiting for the 16.

In this metric scale problem, 7.3 instead of 73 millimeters was entered and the correct answer is shown.
